Integrated academic studies - Pharmacy for acquiring the academic title Master of Pharmacy is realized within five years and are conducted in ten semesters with a total of 4380 classes of instruction. Teaching is carried out in the form of theoretical teaching, practical teaching, practical work of students in laboratories, seminars and seminar papers, fieldwork, thematic workshops, professional student practice and mentored guided research work of students who is in the function of producing graduate work.

Total engagement of students through all envisaged forms of instruction is expressed with the number of 300 ETCS. ETCS implementation was carried out according to the non-modularized system (the subjects can have a different number of points so that the total number of points in one academic year is 60). The number of points for each subject is determined in relation to the assigned tasks that a student should perform in order to achieve the goal and the learning outcome. The student achieves the points foreseen for the subject after passing the final exam.

During the 1st, 2nd and 3rd semester of the study, students acquire basic knowledge of basic natural sciences that are important for pharmacy studies (Mathematics, Physics, Biology with Human Genetics, Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Analytical Chemistry 1 and 2, Physical Chemistry and others ) and basic medical sciences (Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, General Biochemistry, Physiology). From the 4th to the 8th semester, the teaching is oriented towards pharmaceutical sciences (Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry of Inorganic Compounds, Pharmaceutical Chemistry of Organic Compounds 1 and 2, Bromatology, Pharmacognosy 1 and 2, Pharmaceutical Technology 1 and 2, Pharmacokinetics), Expert- (Phytotherapy 1, Drug Analyzer, Pharmacotherapy, Cosmetology) and medical science subjects closely related to pharmacy (Microbiology and Immunology, Pharmaceutical Immunology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, M medically biochemistry and others). During the IX semester, students gain education from professional-applied pharmaceuticals (Toxicology, Clinical Pharmacy, Basics of Industrial Pharmacy and Basics of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology). During the X semester students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the work of pharmacists in public and hospital pharmacies (Pharmaceutical practice) and knowledge in pharmaceutical legislation. In the X semester of the study program, a professional student practice is planned for 300 hours of teaching in the real environment of pharmacy work, public and hospital pharmacy. In the X semester, students are also involved in the preparation of mentoring guided thesis.

Elective courses are envisaged in V, VI, VIII and IX semester. The teaching contents of the elective courses are designed to enable students to expand their knowledge of some topics that are less developed in the compulsory subjects (elective subjects in the V and VIII semesters), improve their information and communication skills, or gain a good basis for engaging in research work (elective subjects in the VI semester) and being properly familiar with the basic principles of clinical medicine and/or expanding their knowledge in certain areas of pharmacy important for pharmaceutical practice (elective objects in the IX semester).

The teaching process of a particular subject takes place during one, and most during the two semesters in accordance with the curriculum of teaching.
