Study program for basic vocational studies for gaining a title BACHELOR OF APPLIED SCIENCE IN DENTAL PROSTHETICS is a first level education program, lasting 3 years (6 semesters) and includes a total of 3165 lessons and 180 ETCS.

Vocational education is realized within six (6) semesters of theoretical and practical teaching, independent work of students, practice in health institutions and the preparation of final professional work.

Curriculum of the study program is designed in accordance with all contemporary requirements of dental profession and science with the aim to educate personnel who will highly professionally apply practical skills in the process of making dental work.

The curriculum contains the list and structure of compulsory and optional subjects and their description. Course description: title, course type, year and semester of study, number of ESPB points, preconditions for enrollment, course objective and subject content, learning process outcome, literature for preparation of exams, way of checking the knowledge and way of passing the exam. The study program contains subjects that are deployed in three teaching years. The student is obliged to pass 28 subjects and perform the final professional work in order to achieve 180 ETCS. Academic-general subjects are 6 with 22 ETCS. During the course of the study, students are given the opportunity to choose 5 out of 10 electives, which together with the final professional work give 36 ETCS. Professional subjects are 14, with 62 ETCS, and professional-applicative 16 with 96 ETCS. Professional-applicative subjects include those areas that are necessary for professional work: fixed prosthesis, mobile partial prosthesis, jaw orthopedics 1 and 2, mobile total prosthesis, aesthetic prosthetics, skeletal partial prosthesis.
