From 18 November 2019, the Acta medica Medianae starts applying the on-line Electronic Editing (e-Ur) system SCIndex ASSISTANT:
(http://aseestant.ceon.rs/index.php/amm/login) developed by the Center for Evaluation in Education and Science (CEON).

Aims and Scope

Acta Medica Medianae is an international journal that publishes peer-reviewed papers in the broadly defined field of biomedical sciences and education: internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, molecular and laboratory medicine, dentistry, pharmacology, epidemiology, public health, etc. The Journal is nationaly recognized as a leading source of current medical information. The journal's goal is to communicate important new information in clinical and molecular research and to provide new knowledge to physicians in order to insure better care for patients. The journal aims to promote communication among laboratory and clinical researchers worldwide and to improve clinical practice, health policy or pathophysiological understanding of diseases. Acta Medica Medianae publishes original observational and experimental papers, case studies, review articles, editorials, proceedings, short communications, and meta-analyses. It may also include important research relating to the history of medicine, current topics, book reports and contributions. The Journal publishes only original papers that have not been published before nor will be published elsewhere. The Journal comply to the strickt ethical regulations with the content and data collection (Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement).

Acta Medica Medianae follow the Scope of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal is indexed in Index Copernicus, DOAJ, EbscoHost, and Serbian Citation Index.

Acta Medica Medianae is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution.

Acta Medica Medianae retains the right for further distribution and printing of the articles.
