| Health care professionals are expected to regularly update their knowledge
and based on that to improve their everyday practice. |
| Continued professional education is a requirement for a health professional to
get his licence, according to the Law on Health Care. |
| Faculty of Medicine organizes and realizes special forms of education and
knowledge innovation, ie. continued education, pursuant to the plans and
programs adopted by the Assembly for Education and Science. |
| Teaching plans and programs are realized in the teaching bases of the Faculty
(and in other health care institutions, as required). |
| Life-long education programs are realized in the forms of courses, seminars,
workshops, professional and scientific meetings. |
| Attendants of continued education programs can be the individuals with at least
secondary education. They do not have student status. |
| When an attendant master the program he attended, the Faculty issues the
CERTIFICATE on a form defined by the Assembly for Education and Science of the
Faculty. |
